Ketapang Lima is a beach in Wondama Bay. It is often visited by town dwellers who want to spend their weekends at the beach. Ketapang is the name of a tree Terminalia catappa. Lima is the Indonesian word for Five. There is a very nice coral reef area around 100 meters from beach to the sea. The reef is separated by underwater seagrass.

A lot of species of fish can be seen in coral reef including striped surgeonfish, convict surgeonfish, moorish idol,  small damselfish, baby surgeonfish in reef flat zone. As you swim to further to reef crest and fore reef zones, you will be able to see more fishes such as parrotfish, lionfish, grouper, sweetlips, trevally, and etc.
The best time to enjoy snorkeling is during high tide. You will have more space to paddle your hands and feet without breaking the corals. CR-DPD HPI PB.
